Functional Registered Dietitian – West Coast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members to evaluate health concerns and create individualized care plans utilizing a functional nutrition approach.

• Utilize functional lab testing to identify nutrient deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and gut health issues, customizing interventions to target root causes.

• Assist members in embracing sustainable, anti-inflammatory diets while considering lifestyle factors such as stress, sleep, and physical activity.

• Engage in specialized training to enhance knowledge in functional nutrition and autoimmune protocols.

• Work collaboratively to incorporate WellTheory’s care model into the wider healthcare system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.

• Registered Dietitian (RD) licensure through the Commission on Dietetic Registration or equivalent licensure in your state.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in dietetics.

• Experience in disease management.

• Experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT).

• Background in promoting healthy lifestyle behavior changes.

• Familiarity with functional nutrition clinics or telehealth environments.

• Knowledge of functional lab testing and analysis.

• Understanding of the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) or anti-inflammatory diets.

• Experience in addressing hormonal imbalances and gut health.

• Proficient in Motivational Interviewing and facilitating behavior change to empower patients in reaching their health goals.

• Strong clinical expertise in managing hormonal imbalances and gut health associated with autoimmune conditions.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in multiple states (WellTheory will cover the associated costs).
