Functional QA Engineer – Temporary Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional and regression testing for applications developed on WordPress and WooCommerce.

• Assess emergency-profile workflows and the experiences of end-users.

• Confirm application performance after changes in security, PHP, architecture, and infrastructure.

• Evaluate role-based access control (RBAC) permissions and access scenarios.

• Verify QR-based access and profile retrieval processes.

• Create, implement, and manage thorough test cases.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and monitor defects until resolution.

• Collaborate closely with developers and project stakeholders to maintain product quality.

• Assist with validation efforts related to platform modernization, security enhancements, and compliance initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in Functional Quality Assurance.

• Proficient in performing manual and functional testing.

• Experience in designing, executing, and maintaining test cases.

• Background in conducting regression testing.

• Familiarity with validating end-to-end user flows and business processes.

• Strong skills in defect identification, documentation, and reporting.

• Capability to work independently and manage testing tasks with minimal oversight.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding attention to detail and communication skills.

• Nice-to-Have: Experience in testing WordPress applications.

• Experience in testing WooCommerce implementations.

• Awareness of security testing practices.

• Exposure to automation tools or frameworks.

• Experience in validating Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

• Experience in testing QR-based workflows or access scenarios.

• Knowledge of healthcare, compliance, or security-sensitive applications.
