Functional Consultant – D365 Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Engage in all stages of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance ERP (“D365”) project life cycle, encompassing analysis, design, build, testing, training, cutover, operations, and support.

• Facilitate client workshops to establish the business requirements necessary for the successful implementation of the ERP solution.

• Document these requirements in Business Scenario Documents, Functional Requirements Documents, or User Stories in accordance with project specifications.

• Draft design documents for any customizations and reports related to D365.

• Ensure that design documents encompass boundary conditions and include thorough test scenarios.

• Configure D365 for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections, Fixed Assets, Tax, Bank Management, Project Accounting, and Financial Reporting.

• Perform data mapping and import data into D365 using data entities.

• Execute field mapping between D365 and other systems integrated with it.

• Conduct testing which includes functional testing, integration testing, and automated testing utilizing the Regression suite automation test tool.

• Provide training for D365 and related systems to clients.

• Offer pre-go live and post-go live support to clients.

• Write 1-2 functional blog articles about D365 each year for the Unify Dots blog.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance Operations and Dynamics AX2012R3.

• Proficiency in GL, AP, AR, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Bank Management, and Financial Reporting.

• Conversational proficiency in the English language.

• Must possess Microsoft Certifications.
