Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist with comprehensive NetSuite ERP implementations (Discovery → Design → Build → Test → Go-Live → Hypercare)

• Achieve high-quality results that fulfill business needs and comply with local regulatory standards across EMEA regions

• Collect requirements and convert them into functional designs and NetSuite configurations that adhere to best practices

• Provide support to customers in Managed Services (post go-live): address functional issues, implement enhancements, foster continuous improvement, and ensure prompt resolution in line with SLAs

• Conduct and facilitate functional workshops with Spanish business teams (finance and operations)

• Configure essential modules (Financials/Operations) and manage complete processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, banking and reconciliations)

• Assist with testing (UAT), cutover planning, Go-Live execution, and post go-live stabilization (Hypercare)

• Recognize risks and dependencies early; maintain control over scope and escalate as necessary

• Develop reports and insights (Saved Searches, KPIs, dashboards) and assist with data migration/validation (CSV)

• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and automation when needed

• Contribute to delivery governance: effort tracking, milestones, change control (CR/PCR), documentation, test evidence, and status reporting

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in executing NetSuite implementation projects

• Strong functional knowledge of NetSuite Financials and core business processes

• Hands-on experience with UAT, Go-Live, and Hypercare support

• Understanding of roles, permissions, and segregation of duties controls

• Experience with OneWorld environments is advantageous

• Familiarity with integrations (iPaaS) is a plus

• Experience with AP automation and OCR solutions is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and quality, effective collaboration with LATAM–EMEA teams, and a structured problem-solving approach

• Proficient English (required) for documentation and global collaboration; Spanish (finance/business) and other European languages are a significant advantage
