Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• As a Functional Consultant, you will leverage your expertise, process insights, and the configuration capabilities of the Ivalua product.

• Showcase your knowledge of Source to Contract and/or Procure to Pay, along with extensive hands-on consulting experience in Procurement transformations within SaaS and ERP implementations.

• Serve as a Stream lead, overseeing the Mobilization and Design phases of the project.

• Provide consultation to clients facing complex challenges in Sourcing and Procurement.

• Identify client needs and translate them into a coherent business model using the Ivalua Platform.

• Facilitate and document design workshops with clients, ensuring the design aligns with the capabilities of the Ivalua Platform.

• Offer clients advice on alternative solutions and functionalities that meet their business needs.

• Guarantee the usability of the Ivalua Platform in accordance with client specifications and industry best practices.

• Engage and collaborate with senior client stakeholders, including executive sponsors and decision-makers.

• Contribute to the growth of the Procurement Transformation practice internally, encompassing marketing strategies, partner development, content creation, and proposal preparation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience and in-depth process knowledge in the Procurement domain.

• Proficient in both spoken and written German and English.

• Willingness to travel occasionally (~20%).

• Experience in deploying eProcurement solutions.

• Capability to conduct Process GAP analysis and facilitate workshops with Business and Process Architects.

• Proficient in transforming business requirements into design documentation.

• Excellent communication skills and assertiveness to engage with global business counterparts, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Critical thinking and leadership qualities to negotiate client requirements, pinpoint process improvement opportunities, and establish best practices in S2C and P2P processes.

• Ability to function effectively both independently and within a global team.

• Familiarity with project management tools.

• Previous experience in Ivalua system design, including user management, organizational structure, financial data, etc., will be advantageous.

• Experience in Ivalua workflow design to accurately represent underlying business processes will be a plus.

• Background in SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems will be beneficial.
