Functional Analyst – O2C, ERP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Analyze and document comprehensive business workflows, focusing on order processing, inventory allocation, invoicing, and logistics interfaces within the Order-to-Cash process.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and regional stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize operational challenges and business requests.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for technical teams and implementation partners.

• Offer second-level functional support for MS Dynamics Business Central issues, batch failures, and workflow obstacles.

• Examine system glitches, data inconsistencies, stuck orders, posting errors, and operational bottlenecks; coordinate solutions with technical engineers.

• Provide real-time operational support to power users across Operations, Logistics, and Finance during US business hours.

• Oversee MS Dynamics Business Central, including configuration modifications, minor maintenance, and enhancements.

• Assist with data cleanup, process standardization, and business readiness for the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud transformation.

• Design and implement functional test plans, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-to-end validation.

• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and training resources; facilitate training sessions for US business teams.

• Support IT audits, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), and internal control requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, or ERP Support Specialist within an Enterprise Applications environment.

• Hands-on functional and support experience with MS Dynamics Business Central is essential.

• Familiarity with or exposure to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is a significant advantage.

• In-depth understanding of Order-to-Cash workflows, supply chain operations, and e-commerce/retail distribution dynamics.

• Strong expertise in process mapping and modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio, or BPMN.

• Capability to translate complex workflows into clear and standardized process documentation.

• Ability to diagnose application errors, trace data flow across integrated systems, and resolve functional ticket escalations within operational timelines.

• Willingness to balance process projects with daily user support and issue resolution.

• Practical approach to addressing immediate operational issues and their underlying causes.

• Ability to clearly explain complex system behaviors and solutions to non-technical business users.

• Must reside on the US East Coast or in Boston, MA.
