Functional Analyst – International Trade

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the link between the International Trade business sectors and technical teams, converting operational requirements into functional specifications.

• Offer functional assistance to users, address inquiries, track tickets, and conduct root-cause investigations.

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, system implementation, migration, and integration projects.

• Gather, document, and validate functional requirements and process workflows with key stakeholders.

• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), confirm functionality, and support system approvals.

• Collaborate with vendors and external consultants to enhance systems and resolve issues.

• Monitor system Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and initiate corrective measures.

• Aid in monthly closing processes related to exports, imports, compliance, and legal responsibilities.

• Work alongside tax, accounting, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure the integrity of data and processes.

• Create manuals, functional documentation, and training materials for end-users.

• Ensure compliance with access control, information security, audits, and internal IT policies.

• Coordinate with technology teams to resolve tickets, implement enhancements, and apply updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in International Trade and related fields.

• Experience in monitoring KPIs for support ticket management.

• Skills in contracting and managing vendors/consultants.

• Ability to plan and execute system implementation, migration, and integration projects.

• Experience in supporting and monitoring accounting, tax, controllership, and supply chain closing processes.

• Proficient in following up on improvement initiatives and support tickets.

• Capable of reporting activity status to management.

• Skills in process rationalization and flow design.

• Provide support and respond to requests from business areas.

• Experience in handling and supporting audits.

• Knowledge of PL/SQL is advantageous.
