Fullstack Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical leader for developers, providing guidance and support to the team in their daily tasks.

• Best Practices and Quality: Create and advocate for a set of best practices for software development that align with agile methodologies.

• Refinement and Analysis: Engage actively in the refinement, impact analysis, and design of items within the product backlog.

• Discovery and Business Hypotheses: Contribute significantly to Discovery sessions, offering insights on business hypotheses from the perspective of development practices and application creation.

• Technical Direction: Assist in defining the technical direction of the product, ensuring the ongoing evolution and quality of development.

• Communication and Alignment: Facilitate clear communication between architectural definitions and software components.

• Standards and Compliance: Ensure compliance with Porto's software development standards, including secure development practices and other regulations applicable to the Squad's technology.

• Process Optimization: Suggest processes and tools that enhance the Squad's daily operations.

• Promotion of Technical Rituals: Motivate Developers to adopt technical processes and rituals, such as estimations, technical definitions, gitflow, and mapping of technical debt.

• Code Quality: Take responsibility for the quality of the developed code, ensuring adherence to acceptance criteria, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

• Strategic Alignment: Adhere to guidance provided by Architecture disciplines, Tech Leads, Information Security, and other software engineering-related disciplines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in progress in a technology-related discipline.

• Agile Methodologies and DevOps: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in teams utilizing agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Programming Languages: Proficient in languages such as Java, Python, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, Angular, and PL-SQL.

• Cloud: Familiarity with Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Software Architecture: Understanding of software architecture concepts, including SOLID principles, DDD (Domain-Driven Design), and development best practices.

• Microservices: Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

• Containers: Experience with Containers and Container Orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Chatbot Experience: Familiarity with programming languages relevant to understanding the underlying code of chatbots, enabling adjustments and collaboration with the development team.
