Fullstack Software Engineer, Notifications Lifecycle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services responsible for handling notifications and emails, while ensuring our systems' performance, security, and scalability.

• Creating, developing, and sustaining high-quality, efficient frontend features.

• Participating in the entire development lifecycle: from technical design and development to testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. This role involves writing design documents and code, while receiving valuable feedback on your contributions.

• Collaborating with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to produce high-quality products.

• Contributing to the infrastructure that underpins all these processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on developing user-facing features from conception to completion.

• Seeking candidates with full-stack web development expertise, demonstrating experience across modern web technologies and backend service programming.

• While we are open to various programming languages, our current stack primarily utilizes Typescript on the frontend, along with GraphQL, Golang, and Python on the backend.

• A proven history of delivering quality, including:

• Familiarity with unit testing and other forms of automated testing.

• Ability to write code with a focus on resiliency and fault tolerance.

• Experience in supporting live operations for websites.

• Strong collaboration skills: you thrive in team environments.

• You may showcase abilities in areas such as written and verbal communication, project leadership, enhancing engineering culture, and collaborating across functions beyond engineering.
