Fullstack Developer – React, Convex, Claude

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver a production-ready React frontend within a tight schedule.

• Operate within a React + Convex stack, utilizing Convex's real-time and reactive architecture where it truly adds value.

• Connect frontend components with existing backend APIs and Convex functions.

• Collaborate closely with the backend developer to ensure alignment on data contracts and API endpoints.

• Convert product requirements and UI/UX specifications into clean, functional user interfaces.

• Regularly utilize Claude Code and AI-assisted development workflows as an essential part of your building process—viewing them as a daily productivity enhancer rather than just a novelty.

• Contribute to product ideation: identify UX gaps, propose improved data models, and challenge assumptions.

• Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and excellent performance.

• Engage in daily standups and participate in sprint planning activities.

• Write maintainable, well-organized code with adequate test coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in frontend development using React.

• Experience with Convex is essential—you should be familiar with its real-time data layer, mutations, queries, and its impact on frontend architecture.

• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Proficient in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar).

• Actively employs Claude Code and AI tools—you should have a clear perspective on leveraging these resources to accelerate development and enhance quality.

• Strong viewpoints on product and architecture—we are looking for someone who actively contributes ideas, not just fulfills tasks.

• Fullstack capability—able to navigate and contribute to backend code when necessary.

• Awareness of background jobs in UI.

• Excellent communicator who thrives in small, collaborative teams.

• Available to start immediately and commit full-time until the project deadline.
