Fullstack Developer, Python, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop web applications for both local and international clients, including those in the FMCG industry, along with research initiatives.

• Engage with Python-based backend services and React front-end technologies.

• Participate in the complete delivery cycle, from client discussions about requirements to solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Create APIs utilizing Django and FastAPI.

• Design responsive user interfaces using React.

• Integrate backend services and frontend components into robust, maintainable applications.

• Collaborate with fullstack developers, specialized backend and frontend engineers, as well as DevOps professionals.

• Assume responsibility for features throughout the entire stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in application development using Python and Django.

• Practical experience in building frontend applications with React and JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Strong grasp of React hooks, component architecture, and state management principles.

• Experience in designing REST APIs and their integration with frontend applications.

• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.

• Experience with relational databases, Git, and Docker.

• Knowledge of software development best practices, including design patterns, code reviews, and automated testing for both backend and frontend.

• Capability to take ownership of features from the requirement stage through to implementation and deployment.

• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in English, facilitating direct collaboration with international clients.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and a desire to continue enhancing your skill set.

• Experience with FastAPI and asynchronous processing using Celery.

• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.

• Proficient in writing frontend unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Awareness of web accessibility standards and frontend performance best practices.

• Frontend technologies: React, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.

• Backend technologies: Python, Django 5, FastAPI, Celery.

• API standards: REST.

• Databases: MySQL, Dgraph.

• Containerization and storage tools: Docker, Makefile, Bash, MinIO.

• Messaging and integrations: Kafka, integrations with MinIO, Celery, and MySQL.

• Cloud services: AWS EC2, basic server management via SSH.

• Orchestration tools: Kubernetes on AWS.

• CI/CD and artifacts management: TeamCity and JFrog, managed by a dedicated team.
