Fullstack Developer, Node/React – Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create innovative solutions for intricate challenges that frequently demand creativity and originality;

• Serve as a steward, alongside fellow leaders, of engineering best practices and rituals such as preparing and reviewing Technical Design documents and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), DORA metrics, cloud cost management, and more;

• Assist other developers in diagnosing and resolving incidents;

• Incrementally write and test code while adhering to agile practices, and maintain comprehensive documentation;

• Conduct code reviews and support colleagues with challenging design choices;

• Continuously test, deploy, and monitor your code in a production environment;

• Develop new tools to enhance and streamline the team's productivity;

• Collaborate with peers from different teams to advance our ecosystem;

• Contribute to strategic projects for Grupo Boticário;

• Define and collaboratively shape the future of our platform with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and deploying software solutions to production;

• Familiarity with software development best practices, including SOLID principles, Hexagonal Architecture, Clean Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and Domain-Driven Design (DDD);

• Experience with cloud-native architectures and development, particularly with practical knowledge of AWS;

• Understanding of services crucial for high availability (e.g., S3, SQS/SNS, Lambda/ECS/EKS, RDS);

• Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js and React);

• Experience with both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases;

• Knowledge of Kafka;

• Comprehension of data structures;

• Experience in microservices architecture;

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging techniques;

• Experience with scheduled tasks (cron jobs);

• Knowledge of REST and event-driven architectures;

• Proficient in unit and integration testing;

• Strong emphasis on performance and security;

• Practical knowledge and dedication to the principles of the Test Pyramid for designing and implementing an effective, low-maintenance automated testing strategy;

• A mindset focused on software quality, system evolution, problem decomposition, and abstraction;

• Willingness to learn new practices, technologies, programming languages, and engineering cultures;

• Proficiency with Git or another collaborative version control system;

• Capability to perform root cause analysis for software issues;

• Experience with load testing.
