Fullstack Developer, Node.js/React.js III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Development and Maintenance: Create, implement, and enhance high-performance, highly available backend and frontend applications, ensuring code that is clean, maintainable, and well-structured.

• AI-Assisted Development: Effectively utilize approved AI tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Gemini) within the engineering process to accelerate task refinement, code generation, refactoring, test-suite development, documentation, and incident analysis.

• Ownership and Autonomy: Assume full responsibility for deliverables—from development and automated testing (unit and integration) to deployment (CI/CD) and monitoring in production.

• Quality, Review and Validation: Maintain code quality through thorough Code Reviews and Pair Programming, integrating human validation with AI support, while auditing security, performance, and compliance of generated code with the company's architectures.

• Observability and Incidents: Oversee application health using monitoring/APM tools (e.g., New Relic, Grafana), proactively identifying and addressing incidents with a focus on root causes.

• Collaboration and Refinement: Engage actively in technical and product refinement, leveraging AI to expedite the breakdown and detailing of requirements, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (Product, Design, Business) and supporting architectural and local design decisions.

• Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Foster team development by sharing expertise, mentoring less-experienced developers on engineering best practices and the effective use of AI tools within Boticário Group's engineering pipeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience in developing Full Stack solutions (preferably with Node.js and React.js).

• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Experience with AI-driven development workflows: Practical knowledge or strong familiarity with code assistants and generative AI (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and/or Gemini) for refinement, code generation, testing, and technical review support.

• Critical thinking and technical validation: Capability to analyze, audit, refactor, and validate AI-assisted solutions, ensuring software quality, security, and maintainability.

• Experience with developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).

• Proven practice in writing unit and integration tests.

• Daily application of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and programming paradigms (OOP / Functional).

• Familiarity with cloud architectures and services (preferably AWS, including AWS Lambda, etc.).

• Practical experience in continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) and source control using Git.

• Experience with observability and production log/metric analysis (New Relic, Grafana, or similar).

• Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis for software issues.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative work environments.

• Pragmatic problem-solving skills, an autonomous work ethic, and strong interpersonal abilities.

• Desirable: Knowledge of Prompt Engineering techniques as applied to the software development lifecycle.

• Desirable: Experience with messaging and event systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).

• Desirable: Knowledge of test- and quality-driven development practices (TDD / BDD).

• Desirable: Familiarity with Microfrontend architectures and database normalization/modeling.

• Desirable: Understanding of basic web application security concepts (OWASP, access control).

• Desirable: Experience in building and consuming APIs using GraphQL.
