This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop and improve frontend applications utilizing Angular and TypeScript for enterprise-level projects.
• Design and build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, focusing on REST APIs and Hibernate-based data integration.
• Contribute to the development of microservice architectures, from creating individual services to integrating them into existing systems.
• Implement UX/UI designs in close collaboration with the design team, emphasizing usability and producing clean, maintainable code.
• Employ DevSecOps practices, including GitLab CI/CD pipelines and container deployments on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and quality assurance in partnership with the project team.
• Collaborate closely within agile, cross-functional client teams.
• Share best practices and investigate new technologies.
• Degree in (business) computer science, completed vocational training as an IT specialist in application development, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of pertinent professional experience in software development.
• Strong to very strong skills in fullstack development with a focus on frontend technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Practical knowledge of Java, Spring / Spring Boot, REST, and JSON.
• Proficient in using Git, Maven, and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with frontend applications and microservices.
• Experience in DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of container and cloud platforms, preferably Kubernetes / OpenShift, Helm, and GitLab.
• Ideally, experience with Google Cloud applications.
• Advantageous: experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Advantageous: experience with Kafka or similar messaging and integration solutions.
• Business-fluent German (minimum C1 level).
