FullStack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Design and implement user-friendly interfaces and experiences.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or identified during testing.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web development.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Java 17+ (preferably 21/25) and Spring Boot 3.

• Experience in REST API development, Spring Security, JPA, and PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of Clean/Hexagonal architecture, DDD, and CQRS.

• Familiarity with OpenAPI, versioning, pagination, error handling, and idempotency.

• Integration between microservices via HTTP, including timeouts, retries, and traceability.

• Proficiency in React 18/19 + TypeScript.

• Experience with TanStack Query for server state management and Zustand or similar for local state management.

• Knowledge of React Hook Form + Zod.

• Understanding of frontend architectures by functionalities/layers.

• Backend testing experience with JUnit 5 and Mockito.

• Frontend testing experience with Vitest and Testing Library.

• Familiarity with SonarQube, JaCoCo, Git, pull requests, and code reviews.

• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.

• Ability to develop an end-to-end user story: DB → microservice → BFF → frontend.

• Identify functional and technical gaps before implementation.

• Autonomy, good communication skills, and ability to track progress/blockers.

• Capability to document technical decisions and work with external dependencies.

• Desirable: experience in banking, payments, or financial transactions.

• Desirable: experience with BFF and API composition.

• Desirable: familiarity with AWS, especially SNS/SQS and Cognito.

• Desirable: experience in migrating legacy systems such as AS/400.
