Full-Stack Web Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Developing and sustaining frontend and backend services that drive our meter assessment and analytics products utilized by water utilities globally.

• Transitioning from finalized designs to production environments.

• Creating scalable workflows, data ingestion pipelines, and configuration-based client onboarding processes.

• Implementing web-based applications.

• Constructing and managing APIs.

• Assisting with batch upload workflows.

• Integrating with data pipelines.

• Diagnosing and resolving application issues.

• Ensuring data integrity, traceability, and adherence to security best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with both front-end and back-end web technologies.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (or TypeScript) and at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Golang, Python).

• Experience with contemporary JavaScript frameworks (Express.js, React, Node.js, Redux, etc.).

• Proven ability in building backend APIs using Python, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.

• Extensive experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with implementing batch data ingestion workflows and background processing.

• Understanding of data validation, quality assurance checks, and audit or traceability processes.

• Proficient in integrating third-party libraries and backend REST APIs.

• Experience working with configuration-driven systems rather than relying on hard-coded logic.

• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.

• Knowledge of web application security standards and data privacy considerations.

• Experience using Git for version control.

• Basic knowledge of Unix and familiarity with cloud infrastructure technologies (AWS, Serverless, etc.) and Docker/Containers.
