Full-Stack Web Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold the core user interface of the product, which includes map interactions, chat functionalities, data tables, and file-upload processes.

• Create interfaces that focus on maps and can display extensive feature sets.

• Present tabular outcomes from spatial queries.

• Manage file-upload processes within the application.

• Assist in backend development, which encompasses API design and server-side data persistence, in collaboration with the team’s AI engineer.

• Contribute to an AI-driven chat interface and tackle issues related to latency and streaming partial results.

• Produce measurable outputs from onboarding activities.

• Aid in the creation of a new map-oriented, data-intensive product with a slight emphasis on the frontend.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of full-stack engineering experience with TypeScript, utilizing React for the frontend and Node for the backend.

• At least 2 years of experience in developing map-focused frontends with Mapbox GL, or equivalent production experience with vector-tile mapping libraries like MapLibre, Leaflet, or deck.gl.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in creating data-heavy product UIs in production, including tables, editors, and upload processes.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in designing backend services using Postgres, which includes API design, typesafe query layers, authentication, and authorization.

• Familiarity with Kysely, Prisma, or a comparable typesafe query layer is acceptable.

• Senior-level expertise with over 5 years of overall professional experience.
