This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Design, develop, and sustain web-based applications utilizing contemporary front-end and back-end technologies.
• Implement new features, improvements, and bug fixes according to the priorities set by the product owner.
• Collaborate effectively with testers, product owners, and fellow developers during sprint activities.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate applications with SQL databases, ensuring the establishment of proper data models and efficient queries.
• Engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Update development tasks and their statuses on the sprint board.
• Assist in help desk investigations by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving reported issues.
• Maintain code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and adherence to established development standards.
• Contribute to automation, DevSecOps, or CI/CD initiatives wherever applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of experience, or six (6) years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree – Mid-Junior level.
• Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years of experience, or an additional six (6) years of experience in lieu of a degree – Mid to Senior level.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance is required; Secret Clearance is preferred.
• Experience in developing full-stack web applications.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/.NET 8+ for back-end development.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React, or similar).
• Understanding of Agile software development environments.
• Experience working with SQL databases (e.g., creating queries, designing schemas, and integrating data layers).
• Proficiency in code management and development tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, or TFS).
• Experience with query plan analysis and optimization for SQL.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) infrastructure using platforms such as Azure DevOps Server.
• Experience with Windows Server 2019 or newer.
• IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+).
