Full-Stack Software Engineer, ReactJS, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain user-facing features and supporting services for the NXT Platform.

• Deliver comprehensive web features throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to coding, testing, and deployment.

• Create and uphold responsive, accessible user interfaces utilizing ReactJS and contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Develop and enhance web applications and services leveraging ReactJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and related technologies.

• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and debugging while ensuring correctness, security, and maintainability.

• Employ agile methodologies to plan sprints and engage in design discussions.

• Collaborate on scalable and maintainable system architecture and design.

• Write automated tests and engage in code review processes.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and product managers to define requirements, identify constraints, and deliver product features.

• Advance the NXT platform and tackle complex technical challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with ReactJS and contemporary front-end development, including JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based architecture, and state management.

• In-depth knowledge of Node.js and experience in developing server-side applications and APIs.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database, including database design and query optimization.

• Thorough understanding of full-stack development across front-end, back-end, and data layers, including RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.

• Sound judgment regarding the effective utilization of AI-assisted development tools.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate across remote teams.

• Experience in building or integrating AI/ML capabilities, such as LLM APIs, retrieval, or model integration into production environments is preferred.

• Strong TypeScript skills and experience with modern testing frameworks are preferred.

• Previous experience in digital advertising is preferred.

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and a willingness to learn and adapt to other frameworks is preferred.

• Exposure to DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines and cloud services, particularly Kubernetes, AWS, and GitHub Actions is preferred.

• US work authorization is required.
