Full Stack Software Engineer – Pricing & Inventory Platform, Frontend Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create high-performance and accessible web applications for pricing, inventory, and availability management.

• Construct contemporary frontends using TypeScript and React/Preact.

• Continuously improve business applications.

• Develop features comprehensively, from the user interface to backend services and APIs.

• Create applications focused on price maintenance, inventory reporting, transparency, and data-driven suggestions.

• Develop and integrate dependable, scalable services for pricing and inventory information.

• Work with event-driven data flows and utilize Apache Kafka.

• Collaborate closely with UX and Product Design teams to enhance the Design System and Component Library.

• Maintain high software quality and stability through automated testing, code reviews, monitoring, and observability.

• Contribute to architectural and technological decisions while advancing shared engineering standards.

• Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools and propose ideas to improve development efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in frontend or full-stack development.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Familiarity with a modern frontend framework, preferably React or Preact.

• Good understanding of backend development, such as Java or Kotlin.

• Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and contemporary software architectures.

• Proficient in automated testing, using tools like Jest, Vitest, or similar.

• Experience with AWS or another comparable cloud platform.

• Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of CI/CD, monitoring, and observability practices.

• Independent, analytical, and collaborative work approach.

• Proficient in German at a minimum B2 level and confident English communication skills.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar event-driven technologies.

• Nice to have: Understanding of pricing, inventory, or marketplace systems.

• Nice to have: Experience with Design Systems, Component Libraries, or Storybook.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of micro-frontends or self-contained systems.

• Nice to have: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Pulumi or Terraform.

• Nice to have: Understanding of accessibility standards / WCAG.

• Nice to have: Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, or platform settings.
