Full Stack Software Engineer – Fulfillment Platform, Frontend Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create high-performance, accessible web applications for internal teams and business partners.

• Develop contemporary frontends utilizing TypeScript and React/Preact while continuously improving existing applications.

• Implement features from start to finish and connect frontends with backend services and APIs.

• Design applications and dashboards for managing orders, fulfillment, returns, and partner performance.

• Work with event-driven data flows and integrate various systems, including through Apache Kafka.

• Participate in architectural, UX, and design decisions while contributing to the evolution of shared frontend and engineering standards.

• Maintain high software quality and stability through automated testing, code reviews, monitoring, and clean coding practices.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, Data, and Engineering teams.

• Take ownership of projects from conception through production operations.

• Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools in daily tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in frontend or full-stack development.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Familiarity with a modern frontend framework such as React, Preact, Vue, or Angular.

• Solid understanding of full-stack development and experience with APIs and backend services, including Node.js.

• Proficient with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest, or Vitest.

• Basic knowledge of modern backend technologies and distributed systems.

• Experience with SQL databases and fundamental data modeling skills.

• Experience working within cloud environments, preferably AWS, with an understanding of CI/CD practices.

• An independent, analytical mindset combined with a team-oriented approach to work.

• Proficient in German at a minimum B2 level and confident English skills.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar messaging and event technologies.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Kotlin or other JVM languages.

• Nice to have: Experience with micro-frontends or self-contained systems.

• Nice to have: Understanding of design systems, component libraries, and accessibility/WCAG standards.

• Nice to have: Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Pulumi or Terraform.

• Nice to have: Background in e-commerce, marketplace, or fulfillment environments.
