Full Stack Software Engineer – Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain contemporary, data-driven full-stack applications

• Construct and enhance scalable backend systems, intricate data models, and efficient APIs utilizing Python and TypeScript

• Implement effective data pipelines and integration strategies across both internal and client-facing platforms

• Create high-performing and user-friendly frontend applications using the latest web technologies

• Develop features and solutions for client platforms as well as Chiri's internal products

• Contribute to applications powered by AI, integrations, automations, and platform functionalities

• Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Engage in architectural discussions and system design decision-making

• Work collaboratively with engineers, product stakeholders, and client teams

• Enhance application performance, reliability, and maintainability

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best engineering practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience

• Extensive experience with Python and/or TypeScript in production settings

• Professional background in developing backend services, APIs, and complex data-driven integrations

• Strong expertise in database design, data modeling, and performance optimization for both relational and NoSQL systems

• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS

• Proficient in Docker and containerized application development

• Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and engineering best practices

• Experience managing features from initial design through deployment and ongoing support

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a remote setting
