Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of end-to-end features including database schema design and Prisma migrations, backend logic utilizing Express and tRPC, as well as UI delivery using Angular 19 and Signals.

• Ensure cross-service awareness while navigating legacy Python, Django, GraphQL, and REST services when necessary.

• Utilize Kiro, Claude, and Codex for quick prototyping and boilerplate code generation, while ensuring human oversight for code quality and architecture.

• Validate API-to-UI integrations and edge cases.

• Produce maintainable code that adheres to DRY and SOLID principles.

• Keep shared documentation up to date.

• Engage in stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and conduct code reviews.

• Work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to develop software aimed at medical education and healthcare outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional full-stack web development experience.

• Proven ability to operate autonomously across various repositories.

• Practical experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically Angular 19 or alternatively React/Vue.

• Experience working with Node.js backends, specifically using Express.

• Proficiency in type-safe APIs, particularly tRPC.

• Expertise in ORMs, especially Prisma.

• Strong understanding of relational database management and migrations.

• Familiarity with REST, Python, Django, and/or GraphQL.

• Comfort in utilizing AI-assisted coding tools.

• Strong critical code review skills.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• A team-oriented, pragmatic attitude towards collaborative development.
