Full-Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement production features from start to finish with minimal oversight.

• Integrate third-party point-of-sale APIs and create data pipelines that support user-facing analytics.

• Implement features driven by AI using Claude and OpenAI APIs.

• Participate in planning and brainstorming sessions, offering insights on broader feature initiatives.

• Address and resolve bugs reported through client Slack channels.

• Update software packages and address security vulnerabilities.

• Ensure application uptime within Google Cloud Platform production environments.

• Establish schedulers, task queues, and cloud infrastructure for new features.

• Utilize the team’s multi-worktree workflow in Claude Code and Codex.

• Manage parallel workstreams across various projects while maintaining low defect rates.

• Uphold test coverage and code quality throughout parallel workstreams.

• Review pull requests and identify errors for the team.

• Report directly to the CTO and take ownership of features from planning to production monitoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience in production settings.

• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript in both front-end and back-end development.

• Proven experience in building user-facing applications using React.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying Node.js and Express APIs.

• Daily hands-on experience with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar agentic coding tools.

• A strong history of owning features through all stages, from design and testing to production deployment.

• Proficiency in English at C1+ CEFR level for effective communication with the CTO and within client Slack channels.

• Preferred experience with Next.js and MongoDB or another NoSQL database.

• Preferred experience with Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.

• Experience embedding Claude API or OpenAI API in production applications is preferred.

• Familiarity with building data ingestion pipelines or analytics dashboards from third-party API data is preferred.

• Experience working remotely with US-based teams is preferred.
