
Full-Stack Software Engineer β AI-Assisted Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Develop and deliver full-stack product features.
β’ Create new functionalities across full-stack web applications.
β’ Primarily work in modern JavaScript/TypeScript environments, with a strong preference for React and Next.js.
β’ Assist in migrating key workflows from outdated systems to a modern platform architecture.
β’ Construct features that facilitate regulated aviation workflows, including compliance tracking, credentialing, background checks, fingerprinting, and associated operational processes.
β’ Utilize AI-assisted development in a responsible manner.
β’ Review AI-generated code for accuracy, maintainability, security, edge cases, and potential bugs.
β’ Validate outputs through careful testing, manual review, and logical technical reasoning.
β’ Proactively communicate progress, inquiries, and obstacles.
β’ Collaborate with team members to enhance code quality, documentation, testing practices, and delivery processes.
β’ Contribute to fostering a more energized and collaborative engineering team following a period of transition.
β’ Approximately 3β5 years of software engineering experience is ideal.
β’ Candidates with 1β2 years of experience or strong recent graduates may also be considered if they demonstrate significant technical aptitude, eagerness to learn, coachability, and completed project work.
β’ Solid full-stack engineering principles and a passion for solving product challenges, not only writing code.
β’ Experience delivering features using AI-assisted or agentic development workflows such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools.
β’ Ability to articulate how you validate AI-generated code before it is deployed to production.
β’ Proficient with JavaScript or TypeScript; familiarity with TypeScript, React, and Next.js is particularly relevant to the new platform initiatives.
β’ Value clean, maintainable code and recognize the significance of testing.
β’ Open to coaching, straightforward, and receptive to feedback from senior engineering leadership.
