Full-Stack Software Engineer – AI-Assisted Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver full-stack product features.

• Create new functionalities across full-stack web applications.

• Primarily work in modern JavaScript/TypeScript environments, with a strong preference for React and Next.js.

• Assist in migrating key workflows from outdated systems to a modern platform architecture.

• Construct features that facilitate regulated aviation workflows, including compliance tracking, credentialing, background checks, fingerprinting, and associated operational processes.

• Utilize AI-assisted development in a responsible manner.

• Review AI-generated code for accuracy, maintainability, security, edge cases, and potential bugs.

• Validate outputs through careful testing, manual review, and logical technical reasoning.

• Proactively communicate progress, inquiries, and obstacles.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance code quality, documentation, testing practices, and delivery processes.

• Contribute to fostering a more energized and collaborative engineering team following a period of transition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years of software engineering experience is ideal.

• Candidates with 1–2 years of experience or strong recent graduates may also be considered if they demonstrate significant technical aptitude, eagerness to learn, coachability, and completed project work.

• Solid full-stack engineering principles and a passion for solving product challenges, not only writing code.

• Experience delivering features using AI-assisted or agentic development workflows such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools.

• Ability to articulate how you validate AI-generated code before it is deployed to production.

• Proficient with JavaScript or TypeScript; familiarity with TypeScript, React, and Next.js is particularly relevant to the new platform initiatives.

• Value clean, maintainable code and recognize the significance of testing.

• Open to coaching, straightforward, and receptive to feedback from senior engineering leadership.
