Full Stack Software Development Engineer – PHP, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain back-end systems utilizing PHP, MySQL, and the Laravel framework.

• Create and uphold front-end components and features using React.

• Collaborate with design and product teams to provide user-friendly interfaces.

• Design, implement, and maintain APIs to support front-end functionalities.

• Conduct code reviews, produce clean and efficient code, and engage in problem-solving and architectural decisions.

• Write and maintain unit tests for code to ensure quality and reliability.

• Monitor and manage the tech stack and dependencies using npm and composer.

• Keep documentation current for the codebase and system architecture.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools as part of the daily workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in full-stack development within a SaaS environment.

• Expertise in back-end development with PHP and MySQL 8, including working with the Laravel framework.

• Proven experience with AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code or equivalent).

• Familiarity with optimizing and building projects using modern bundling tools like Vite, Esbuild, Webpack, or similar.

• Ability to write clean, efficient, secure, and scalable code while adhering to industry best practices.

• Experienced in RESTful API design and integration methodologies.

• Capacity to adapt, estimate workload, decompose tasks into logical steps, solve problems, self-improve, and propose innovative solutions.

• Genuine concern for the long-term maintainability of the codebase.

• Proficiency in English.
