Full Stack Engineer – TypeScript, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain full stack features utilizing TypeScript.

• Create frontend interfaces and reusable components with React.

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.

• Work with PostgreSQL for data persistence, queries, and management.

• Contribute to a three-tier application architecture.

• Work with Docker-containerized applications.

• Develop and manage solutions within an AWS environment.

• Identify and resolve issues across frontend, backend, database, and application integrations.

• Engage in technical discussions and contribute to software architecture decisions as necessary.

• Collaborate with CI/CD and infrastructure teams on troubleshooting and enhancements.

• Conduct code reviews and advocate for development best practices, code quality, and maintainability.

• Work alongside a distributed team across Mexico and the United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional software development experience.

• Significant experience as a Full Stack Engineer with practical frontend and backend development.

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Solid background in building modern web applications with React.

• Experience in developing backend services and APIs using Node.js, preferably with Express.

• Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Hands-on experience with applications or services deployed on AWS.

• Practical knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.

• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues across application layers.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and ownership of technical challenges.

• Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.

• Experience with Drizzle ORM or other ORMs in the TypeScript ecosystem is a plus.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and/or Radix UI is advantageous.

• Practical understanding of CI/CD, deployments, and pipeline troubleshooting is beneficial.

• Experience in contributing to software architecture and technical design decisions is a plus.

• Experience with Redis is a bonus.

• Knowledge or prior experience with Web3, Blockchain, or Solana is a nice addition.

• Exposure to AI-powered integrations or solutions is a plus.
