Full-Stack Engineer, React, Node, Typescript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain scalable web applications utilizing React/Angular combined with TypeScript.

• Develop robust, high-performance APIs through NestJS / NodeJS or FastAPI / Python.

• Adopt an iterative development methodology, beginning with proofs of concept and evolving solutions into production-ready, scalable applications within enterprise parameters.

• Take ownership of the design and execution of features or services from start to finish, collaborating with Tech Leads, Senior Engineers, and Architects.

• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), adhering to enterprise standards for security and reliability.

• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams within an Agile framework, engaging in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that aligns with established engineering best practices.

• Learn from setbacks, adapt swiftly, and effectively communicate insights gained.

• Maintain a commitment to lifelong learning, consistently enhancing your technical and professional abilities.

• Collaborate efficiently as part of a distributed (remote/virtual) team.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant experience.

• Expertise in a modern frontend framework, preferably React (Vue or Angular are also acceptable).

• Practical experience with NestJS / NodeJS or a similar technology stack.

• Knowledge of or experience with Python.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with deployment processes and infrastructure.

• Awareness of prompt engineering techniques.

• A creative, problem-solving attitude that fuels your work.
