Full Stack Engineer – React, Kotlin, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain full-stack applications utilizing React, Kotlin, Python, and contemporary web technologies.

• Create backend services and frontend Single Page Applications.

• Design, construct, and manage APIs and integrations.

• Engage with cloud infrastructure and employ Infrastructure as Code.

• Implement automated testing, conduct code reviews, and uphold CI/CD along with modern software quality standards.

• Monitor and resolve production and application issues.

• Work with a microservices architecture.

• Collaborate with Product, UX, and engineering teams within Agile frameworks using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Take part in the recruitment process including CV evaluation, HR calls, interviews, client interviews, and decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in full-stack development with a modern web technology stack at a senior level.

• Strong backend development expertise with a server-side language, ideally JVM-based.

• Proven experience in developing Single Page Applications, especially with React and TypeScript.

• Solid frontend development capabilities, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.

• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining APIs and integrations.

• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, such as SOLID, DRY, and data/ER modeling.

• Familiarity with automated testing, code review, and modern software quality practices.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience with logging and monitoring tools, as well as troubleshooting production and application issues.

• Proficient in CI/CD methodologies.

• Experience with build and version control tools like Maven and Git/GitHub.

• Background in working within Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban and tools such as Jira.

• Good knowledge of Python and Kotlin.

• Experience in working with microservices architecture.

• Practical knowledge of React and modern JavaScript.

• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.

• Familiarity with REST API design and consumption.

• Hands-on experience with JSON.

• Willingness to engage in both backend and frontend development tasks.

• Ability to quickly adapt between various technology domains.

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or above.

• Must reside in the European Union region and possess a valid work permit.
