Full Stack Engineer – Node/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop enterprise-grade backend solutions.

• Design and create cloud microservices and serverless applications.

• Make modifications to web applications and construct new React applications.

• Build robust and scalable applications that support CMS healthcare quality reporting and analytics.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and UX designers to develop solutions that meet diverse user needs.

• Work alongside Architects and Engineers to establish and enforce development best practices.

• Partner with test engineering to ensure product quality.

• Engage in a dynamic Agile working environment.

• Take part in team code and design reviews.

• Diagnose bugs and resolve production issues with the assistance of the support team.

• Design, develop, and document solutions in line with architectural, coding, and security standards.

• Collaborate with DevOps engineers on CI, CD, and infrastructure as code initiatives.

• Convert specifications into test designs and automate testing processes.

• Establish processes to enhance code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Over 5 years of professional full-stack development experience, including modern design patterns, enterprise-scale production systems, and Git.

• At least 1 year of professional experience in developing full-stack applications using React and Node.js.

• Proficient in React.

• Proficient in Node.js.

• Proficient in JavaScript.

• Familiar with OpenAPI.

• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.

• Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of ECS/Fargate.

• Familiarity with Lambda.

• Experience with Terraform.

• Proficient in Jenkins.

• Familiar with Git and GitHub.

• Experience with Confluence/Jira.

• Background in Agile software development.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

• Must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the U.S.; all work must occur in the U.S.

• Must have resided in the U.S. for three full years out of the last five years.

• A Master's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.

• Preferred experience in production Java application development.
