Full Stack Engineer – Music

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable backend services using Java.

• Develop and refine APIs and services that link user experiences with a robust internal infrastructure.

• Translate product requirements into effective APIs and services.

• Enhance system architecture, performance, and the overall developer experience.

• Create and improve the user-facing layer and frontend SDKs utilizing React/TypeScript.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data experts across various teams.

• Participate in technical discussions and influence platform decisions.

• Develop tools that empower artists to express themselves and engage with Spotify fans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and developing backend applications using Java.

• Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with end-to-end experiences and software architecture spanning backend, frontend, and APIs.

• Experience with infrastructure-related technologies is advantageous.

• Commitment to agile software development and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills for conveying ideas effectively.

• Experience and enthusiasm for mentoring and promoting teamwork.

• Availability to work within the ET time zone with a designated work location.
