Full Stack Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain full-stack functionalities utilizing various languages and technologies.

• Build React and React Native applications for both web and mobile platforms.

• Develop and manage backend systems based on PHP, Node.js services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

• Design and optimize database schemas and integrations.

• Contribute to the gradual modernization of current systems.

• Identify and resolve production issues while maintaining a balance with new feature implementations.

• Work collaboratively with designers, product managers, and AI teams to provide user-friendly solutions.

• Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability across all systems.

• Create mobile experiences using React Native or similar cross-platform technologies.

• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Engage in code reviews and share knowledge with team members.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance the performance of web, mobile, and backend systems.

• Keep up-to-date with tools, frameworks, and best practices in full-stack and mobile development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.

• Hands-on individual contributor with a focus on execution rather than ownership of architecture.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and contemporary frameworks such as React, React Native, and Node.js.

• Proficient in PHP or related backend frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and SQL/NoSQL database systems.

• Experience in integrating frontends and mobile applications with backend APIs.

• Familiar with app store deployments and push notification services.

• Solid understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.

• Excellent skills in collaboration and communication.

• A genuine passion for utilizing technology to solve real-world challenges.

• Proficiency in modern AI-driven tools such as Claude Code.

• Experience with mobile analytics tools like Firebase, LogRocket, or Mixpanel is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with workforce management, HR compliance, or payroll systems is a plus.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards for web and mobile platforms is a bonus.
