Full-Stack Engineer – Backend Leaning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop production agents and enhance their functionalities through prompts, tool utilization, orchestration, new models, and MCP integrations.

• Design and manage dependable backend systems for asynchronous creative generation as well as long-running tasks.

• Ensure optimal performance, observability, scalability, and security of backend systems.

• Create shared evaluations and live quality monitoring, which includes model-based assessments of image and video outputs.

• Take ownership of features from beginning to end, starting with identifying user needs and prototyping, through to deployment across the stack and ongoing support in production.

• Collaborate effectively with product, design, and engineering teams.

• Influence agent capabilities and user experiences throughout ElevenCreative.

• Enhance and maintain the live creative agent product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient backend engineering skills.

• Experience in operating production systems.

• Strong knowledge of APIs, cloud infrastructure, storage, and asynchronous processing.

• Practical experience in developing agents, including prompts, tools, execution logic, and evaluations.

• Understanding of the principles of reliable and secure agent operation.

• Demonstrated independent, end-to-end ownership.

• Comfortable working across the technology stack, including frontend delivery when necessary.

• Strong product judgment and effective communication skills.

• Familiarity with HTTP, WebSockets, and asynchronous workers is advantageous.

• Experience with multimodal generation, creative editors, MCP, or working in a small, agile team is especially beneficial.

• Proven track record of outstanding engineering through products delivered, complex challenges addressed, and systems managed.
