Full-Stack Engineer – Automation, AI Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy backend services and APIs using Python and/or Node/TypeScript for large-scale data systems.

• Contribute to the data modeling and transformation processes on the Snowflake-based platform.

• Create and enhance React front-end modules for analytics aimed at customers.

• Manage features from design through implementation, testing, review, release, and post-release validation.

• Lead the development and evolution of API and web automation frameworks.

• Design automated validations for ETL pipelines, encompassing reconciliation, schema and contract checks, aggregation, and business-rule verification.

• Write complex SQL queries for data integrity and reconciliation testing.

• Incorporate quality gates into CI/CD processes to identify regressions, schema issues, and contract violations prior to deployment.

• Examine data quality issues comprehensively, identify root causes, and automate preventive checks.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools for implementation, test generation, and expanding test coverage.

• Construct evaluation harnesses for AI and agent-based features.

• Employ AI for detecting anomalies, regressions, and data drift, as well as for root-cause analysis.

• Collaborate within a product squad, deliver to customers, and engage in feature design discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of software development experience.

• Proven backend development expertise, including the design and delivery of services and APIs.

• Proficient coding skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with front-end development in React.

• Advanced SQL skills and comfort with large datasets, data warehouses, and ETL pipelines.

• Experience in building or significantly contributing to a test automation framework from the ground up, covering structure, fixtures, test data management, parallelization, and reporting.

• Practical API automation experience, including contract, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Familiarity with web UI automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent.

• Capability to define testing strategies across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Experience integrating automated testing suites into CI/CD to enforce quality gates.

• Proven experience in validating data correctness at scale, including reconciliation, aggregation and transformation checks, along with schema and contract validation.

• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.

• Proficient with AI-assisted development tools and the judgment to evaluate their outputs.

• Ownership mentality with the ability to define ambiguous problems, determine what to automate, and see work through to release.

• Nice to have: experience testing or evaluating LLM/agent-based features.

• Nice to have: performance testing experience with JMeter, Gatling, or k6.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, or comparable modern data stack technologies.

• Nice to have: understanding of distributed data systems, event-driven architectures, or adtech/media measurement.

• Nice to have: proficiency in additional languages such as Java or Scala.
