Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Become part of a cross-functional team that includes a Product Manager, Designer, Front-End, Back-End, and QA Engineers.

• Develop the Employer of Record platform.

• Engage in asynchronous collaboration across Asia and Europe, navigating different time zones.

• Involve yourself in the entire implementation cycle from design to rollout, covering both front-end and back-end.

• Create and sustain web applications utilizing React and TypeScript for the front-end, along with Java or Python for the back-end.

• Construct well-organized and scalable REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Leverage AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot, while reviewing and validating the code produced.

• Write unit and integration tests.

• Work closely with Engineers and the Product Manager to strategize and implement new features.

• Contribute to Engineering Chapters and participate in architectural discussions.

• Gradually take on more responsibility for your work and engage in technical discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in web application development, handling both front-end and back-end technologies.

• Proven experience with React and TypeScript for creating modern web applications.

• Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot or Python along with one of its frameworks for back-end services.

• Experience in building and utilizing REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Solid understanding of CSS and UI development practices.

• Proficiency in effective communication within a remote setting, ensuring clear written communication and dependable asynchronous collaboration.

• Awareness of AI coding assistants and a commitment to establishing a disciplined workflow with them.

• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Background in working with a SaaS platform or custom-built product.

• Experience with B2B SaaS products in sectors like FinTech or HRTech.

• Insight into security principles and performance optimization techniques.

• Self-motivated and inquisitive, demonstrating ownership of tasks, proactive feedback-seeking, and a commitment to personal growth.
