Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create systems for ElevenLabs Productions, the managed-services platform designed for creators and media businesses.

• Develop platforms that merge human expertise with AI for human-edited dubs, audiobooks, and similar productions in over 15 languages.

• Take ownership of a scope within the human data platform, core productions engine, or editor platform.

• Construct task editors, enhance reliability, identify misuse, and develop metrics to improve data pipeline quality.

• Design and maintain backend services that support production workflows and lead various projects.

• Create professional editing tools in Rust, integrating UI systems with foundational systems knowledge.

• Focus on developing professional tools and core infrastructure rather than consumer-facing features.

• Define project scope and take ownership of outcomes with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive backend engineering expertise, preferably in functional programming languages like Rust, with a comprehensive focus on designing UI systems.

• Proven experience in shipping and managing production systems from start to finish.

• Background in creating reliable and scalable systems, including internal platforms, workflow or task engines, or data pipelines.

• Comfortable transitioning between developing new tools or editors and reinforcing the foundational platform.

• Eagerness to lead projects when opportunities arise.

• Experience in building editor or UI-centric professional tools with a systems-level perspective (preferred).

• Familiarity with data labeling or annotation platforms, or managing crowdsourced workforces (preferred).

• Capability to operate within GMT-5 to GMT+1 time zones.
