Full Stack Developer, Python/React.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Primarily functions as a senior software developer, leveraging tools and frameworks to create solutions that satisfy client needs.

• Collaborates within a cross-functional Agile team, coordinating with colleagues to adhere to best practices, plan tasks, and update clients on progress.

• Designs, develops, and implements enterprise solutions using Python tailored to meet client specifications.

• Supports quality development methodologies, including test-driven development.

• Upholds the values and principles of Agile development as part of an Agile DevSecOps team.

• Actively engages in enhancing the codebase by conducting code reviews.

• Assesses the technical effort required to fulfill client demands and aids in the crafting and sizing of user stories.

• Participates in and contributes to all Agile ceremonies and events.

• Collaborates closely with the team to accurately capture technical user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Aids in the documentation of system design and procedures.

• Possesses design skills and experience in object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, microservices, streaming technologies, database design, and data modeling.

• Exhibits excellent communication skills to interact directly with non-technical client stakeholders, acting as a bridge between business and technical language.

• Experienced in leading a team of developers in the design and delivery of cloud-based, continuously deployed client solutions.

• Previous experience in an onsite client technical consulting environment is preferred.

• Familiar with Agile Frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks independently.

• Adept at providing realistic and precise time estimates for assigned tasks.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must be willing to work during Eastern Standard Business hours.

• Candidates must currently reside within the continental United States.

• Must have the capability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance.

• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

• Must be adaptable and flexible as priorities change.

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python (backend) software/application development.

• Must have at least 5 years of hands-on front-end development experience with React.js.

• Must have practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot), including generating, reviewing, and validating code in AI-driven workflows.

• Must have hands-on experience in building microservices-based architectures.

• Must have back-end development experience with JAVA/Spring Boot.

• Must have experience working with one or more NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).

• Must have experience with an RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with common Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, SQS, Lambda, RDS).

• Experience working within Agile Frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Experience using JIRA.

• Proficient in providing realistic and accurate time estimates for assigned tasks.

• Excellent communication skills to directly interact with non-technical client stakeholders, effectively translating between business and technical contexts, including creating impactful visualizations.
