Full-Stack Developer – Node, React, PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Full-stack web development experience ranging from 3 to 5 years;

• Creating features utilizing contemporary frameworks such as React or Vue.js;

• Developing RESTful APIs and integrating them with databases;

• Applying security best practices and conducting tests;

• Full-Stack Development: Extensive experience in full-stack web development with 3 to 5 years, demonstrated through medium to high-complexity projects;

• Frontend: Expertise in at least one modern framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular) along with strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and basic build tools;

• Backend: Skilled in at least one server-side language (preferably Node.js or PHP) and their frameworks, with experience in developing RESTful APIs. Familiarity with other languages (Golang, Java, C#) is advantageous;

• Databases: Understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and foundational NoSQL concepts, including optimized queries and data modeling;

• Software Architecture: Knowledge of basic architectural patterns, fundamental design patterns, and SOLID principles;

• Security: Execution of basic security practices, simple authentication (JWT), and awareness of common security vulnerabilities;

• Testing: Background in unit testing and basic knowledge of integration testing, utilizing tools like Jest or similar;

• Version Control: Advanced skills in Git, including branching strategies and conflict resolution;

• Basic DevOps: Fundamental understanding of Docker, CI/CD principles, and application deployment;

• Performance: Capability to identify typical performance issues and implement simple optimizations, along with familiarity with optimization strategies such as queues and asynchronous processing;

• Consistent Code Quality: Deliver clean, tested, and maintainable code as a standard; advocate for best practices and consistently incorporate test coverage into delivered code;

• Autonomous Work on Familiar Projects: Ability to develop complete features independently, seeking assistance only in specific situations or when encountering new technologies;

• Business Context Understanding: Comprehend the purpose of developed features and their fundamental impact on the product/end user;

• Basic Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Support juniors and interns with technical inquiries, review code, and disseminate best practices;

• Clear Communication with the Team: Articulate technical solutions to the team, engage actively in discussions, and document significant decisions. Advantageous if capable of communicating with business teams and clients;

• Problem and Risk Identification: Anticipate common technical challenges, flag risks to deadlines, and communicate dependencies;

• Reasonably Accurate Estimates: Provide accurate estimates for familiar tasks and decompose larger work into smaller segments;

• Active Participation in Technical Decisions: Contribute well-founded insights in technical discussions and assist in solution selection;
