Full Stack Developer, Frontend-Focused

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop tailored WordPress themes, Gutenberg blocks utilizing ACF or React, and plugins based on provided designs.

• Convert mockups into responsive and accessible frontend code using HTML, CSS/SASS, and contemporary JavaScript.

• Engage with Drupal for client websites, which includes theming, content types, and module-level troubleshooting.

• Identify and resolve frontend and backend issues across multiple CMS platforms.

• Collaborate with designers, consultants, and occasionally clients to address challenges and enhance implementations.

• Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code to strategize and execute components of extensive projects.

• Transform design mockups into swift, accessible, and meticulously crafted websites for clients spanning various industries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional frontend development experience.

• Strong foundational knowledge in HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript.

• More than 3 years of experience in building and customizing WordPress sites.

• Proficiency in Gutenberg block development using ACF or React-based blocks.

• In-depth understanding of PHP versions 7.x/8.x.

• Capability to read, debug, and extend WordPress/Drupal codebases.

• Practical experience with Drupal in theming, content architecture, or module-level tasks.

• Knowledge of WordPress hooks and filters.

• Familiarity with LAMP-stack conventions, including MySQL and Git.

• Excellent communication skills with comfort in collaborating within a remote, client-facing setting.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code.

• Experience with React or Angular is preferred.

• Experience with Laravel or Symfony is preferred.

• Familiarity with Docker and Linux environments is preferred.

• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms is preferred.
