Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Ensure operational excellence and deliver features that are ready for customer use

• Create maintainable, thoroughly tested solutions that align with product and performance objectives

• Investigate low-level behaviors to address real-world issues

• Offer clear code reviews, comprehensive documentation, and mentorship to peers

• Design, develop, and manage Python-based microservices and gRPC APIs that interface with native C++ engines and simulation/inference workflows

• Execute minor to moderate UI updates for customer-facing React applications, including bug resolutions, page modifications, and control adjustments

• Implement complete application logic encompassing request validation, job orchestration, retries/idempotency, transactional accuracy, and customer SDKs/APIs

• Aid in the design and management of distributed systems featuring job partitioning, backpressure, retries, observability, and autoscaling capabilities

• Diagnose and optimize performance issues in frontend, network, Python runtime, and native C++ environments

• Construct CI/CD pipelines alongside automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

• Engage in on-call rotations, incident management, and post-mortem analyses; maintain operational runbooks and dashboards

• Collaborate effectively with product, QA, infrastructure, and customer success teams

• Mentor colleagues and contribute to the establishment of engineering best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, focusing on backend or full-stack systems

• Extensive experience in Python service development (both synchronous and asynchronous) and working with gRPC/protobuf APIs

• Hands-on PostgreSQL experience including schema design, secure migrations, query optimization, and indexing for production workloads

• Practical knowledge of React (or equivalent modern frontend framework), TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and deploying UI updates to production

• Solid understanding of concurrency and multi-threaded programming, with the ability to reason about concurrency across different programming languages

• Experience navigating large codebases with robust engineering practices such as testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and documentation

• Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to take full ownership of customer-facing features

• Nice to have: experience in exposing native C++ functionalities to Python (using pybind11 or CFFI)

• Nice to have: familiarity with EDA/layout or domain-specific file formats (OAS, GDS, ECXML, STL, STEP)

• Nice to have: experience in distributed computing using MPI, task queues, or job schedulers; knowledge of Kubernetes, Slurm, or HPC schedulers

• Nice to have: experience with GPU acceleration (CUDA/ROCm) or integrating GPU-accelerated C++ libraries

• Nice to have: understanding of binary serialization (protobuf, FlatBuffers), zero-copy techniques, and high-performance I/O (io_uring)

• Nice to have: experience with observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, structured logging, tracing)

• Nice to have: knowledge of authentication patterns (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS) and secure interactions between frontend and backend

• Nice to have: understanding of Linux internals and debugging techniques related to processes, threads, signals, memory, and common syscalls
