This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and create software utilizing various programming languages.
• Develop original code and modify existing code to fulfill program specifications.
• Integrate software components along with third-party applications.
• Verify and implement programs and systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance current software solutions.
• Ensure software operates seamlessly across programs, platforms, and mobile systems.
• Collaborate directly with US Army mission partners to create solutions for Warfighters.
• Collect and assess user feedback.
• Assist in drafting epics and features based on user requirements.
• Suggest and implement enhancements.
• Generate technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.
• Active SECRET clearance is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Must satisfy DoD 8570.01 certification prerequisites for Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II.
• Demonstrated experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a comparable position.
• Prior experience in government technology settings.
• Proven track record in deploying software using Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in software design and development within a test-driven environment.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud services, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proven ability in deploying and maintaining APIs on AWS infrastructure.
• Proficient in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python.
• Capability to learn new programming languages and technologies.
• Experience utilizing GitLab as a version control system.
• Preferred: Master's Degree.
• Preferred: Familiarity with the Army software development process and its associated technologies.
• Preferred: Experience in a consultant/client setting.
• Preferred: Knowledge of FISMA, NIST, and RMF federal IT standards and policies.
