This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Design, develop, test, and sustain scalable full stack applications utilizing Python and React.

• Create robust backend services, APIs, and application logic with Python.

• Construct responsive, user-friendly front-end applications employing React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications and services via AWS.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and other engineering teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Diagnose application issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and support production environments.

• Engage in code reviews, testing, deployments, technical documentation, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in software development.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline is mandatory.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Python for backend development.

• Extensive experience in developing modern web applications using React.

• Familiarity with designing and creating RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Practical experience with AWS cloud services and cloud application development.

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and version control.

• Experience with databases, SQL, and data integration.

• Exceptional communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in the Media & Entertainment industry is advantageous.
