This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.
• Design and manage customer portals for sovereign cloud services.
• Create self-service ordering and tenant management features.
• Ensure transparency regarding resources, costs, and permissions.
• Design, develop, and sustain REST and SOAP web services as well as APIs.
• Integrate portals with cloud platforms, CMDB, identity management, and billing systems.
• Develop and manage a central data platform.
• Collect, harmonize, and enhance inventory, monitoring, usage, and contract data.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications within certified company data centers.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated, reproducible, and auditable deployments.
• Implement data residency, GDPR compliance, role and permission models, and audit trails.
• Shape database architecture and data models to ensure performance, quality, and maintainability.
• Translate stakeholder needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Enhance the platform, development processes, and technical standards.
• Engage in architectural decisions and code reviews.
• Share knowledge and experience with other team members.
• Proven experience in developing web applications and RESTful APIs using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and PHP.
• Skilled in shell scripting within a Linux environment.
• Strong understanding of MySQL/MariaDB, database design, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies and user interface design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as GitLab or Azure DevOps, or a willingness to learn.
• Interest in containers, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and digital sovereignty.
• Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Ability to work independently with stakeholders and as part of an agile development team.
• Business-fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in German is a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes in production, Helm, GitOps, or service meshes is advantageous.
• Familiarity with identity and access management tools, including Keycloak, OIDC, or SAML, is beneficial.
• Experience with cloud and virtualization platforms like OpenStack, Proxmox, or VMware is beneficial.
• Knowledge of SOAP and legacy interfaces is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, BSI C5, or NIS2 is advantageous.
• Experience with Vue or React is advantageous.
