Full Stack Application Remediation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide production-ready solutions, routine updates, and overall maintenance for web applications.

• Ensure security and upkeep of Express/tRPC, REST, and GraphQL endpoints through reliable input validation.

• Develop small to medium-scale features, UI enhancements, and internal tools utilizing Angular 19, Express, tRPC, and Prisma.

• Review and update legacy backend services developed with Python, Django, GraphQL, and REST APIs.

• Utilize AI tools such as Claude, Codex, and Kiro for diagnosing issues, writing tests, deploying updates, and addressing security vulnerabilities.

• Conduct testing of edge cases and API-UI integration prior to production launches.

• Work collaboratively with product teams, DevOps, and engineering colleagues through code reviews, pair programming, and sprint planning.

• Alternate between handling security tickets, managing dependency updates, and addressing feature requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years in full-stack web development.

• Background in web application maintenance, feature implementation, and secure coding methodologies.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript for both frontend and backend development.

• Proficient with Angular, Express, tRPC, and Prisma.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, Python, Django, and GraphQL.

• Familiarity with secure coding practices and experience in mitigating OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, authentication improvements, and managing dependency updates.

• Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude, Codex, or Kiro.

• A pragmatic and solutions-focused mindset when tackling diverse technical challenges.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proven experience in code reviews, pair programming, sprint planning, and Agile methodologies.
