Full Stack AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications from start to finish — covering backend, data management, APIs, and user interfaces.

• Lay the groundwork for the Enterprise AI Platform on Azure.

• Transform unclear business challenges across various teams into effective solutions utilizing AI-native development tools.

• Construct and expand the AI Platform on Azure (across multiple regions).

• Take ownership of essential components: APIM, identity management, networking, observability, and data.

• Set up CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, testing, and deployment standards.

• Integrate with both internal and external systems (CRM, CX platforms).

• Utilize tools such as Zendesk, Genesys, Intercom, and Microsoft 365.

• Develop APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.

• Incorporate GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2 (among others) into the platform.

• Collaborate with Security/GRC on data protection and access management.

• Work alongside Product teams on roadmap planning and build-vs-buy assessments.

• Document systems, architecture, and workflows.

• Oversee production systems and enhance performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in delivering full-stack applications from inception to completion.

• Proficient with AI/LLMs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic).

• Knowledge in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and agent-based systems.

• Skilled in utilizing AI-native development tools to expedite delivery.

• Strong backend proficiency (Python, C#/.NET, or Node.js).

• Basic frontend skills (React, Next.js, or similar frameworks).

• Familiarity with Azure and cloud architecture.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in integrating SaaS platforms through APIs and events.

• Understanding of production systems and their reliability.

• Basic knowledge of security and compliance standards.

• Comfortable working as a founding engineer in a startup environment.

• Strong product insight and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Independent, proactive, and efficient in remote team settings.
