Full Stack AI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, and create scalable full-stack applications.

• Develop and launch production-ready AI-driven products and business automation solutions.

• Integrate and enhance Large Language Models (LLMs), such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and similar platforms.

• Create AI workflows that boost operational efficiency and automate business processes.

• Construct robust REST APIs and backend services.

• Develop responsive frontend applications utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Design and manage PostgreSQL databases.

• Apply prompt engineering techniques to enhance AI performance.

• Fine-tune AI models and continuously enhance AI-driven workflows.

• Work collaboratively with leadership to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Ensure high-quality code through Git version control and adherence to best development practices.

• Diagnose production issues and consistently improve system architecture.

• Proficiency in JavaScript.

• Expertise in TypeScript.

• Experience with Node.js.

• Familiarity with React / Next.js.

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.

• Experience with REST APIs.

• Proficient with Git & GitHub.

• Experience using Docker.

• Familiarity with Vercel.

• Knowledge of OpenAI API.

• Experience with Anthropic API.

• Familiarity with Gemini API.

• Knowledge of AI workflow automation tools.

• Over 5 years of professional full-stack software development experience.

• Proven track record in building and deploying AI-powered applications in production environments.

• Demonstrated experience in architecting scalable systems utilized by thousands of users.

• Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and API development.

• Extensive experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into production settings.

• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and AI workflow development.

• Experience in cloud deployment and scalable application architecture.

• Comprehensive understanding of software design principles and system architecture.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions.
