Full-Cycle Revenue Cycle Medical Biller, Dermatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding for dermatological procedures.

• Create, audit, and submit accurate primary and secondary claims.

• Analyze insurance aging reports and investigate unpaid or underpaid claims.

• Record insurance payments based on EOBs and ERAs.

• Prepare and file appeals and reconsideration requests.

• Confirm patient balances and address billing discrepancies.

• Maintain thorough and precise billing notes within ModMed.

• Validate dermatology coding for general, surgical, and cosmetic procedures prior to claim submission.

• Investigate rejected or denied claims and rectify coding or modifier mistakes.

• Follow up with both commercial and government payers on outstanding claims that are over 30 days old.

• Recognize systemic payer denials or billing patterns and report these findings to management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated full-cycle medical billing experience in a Dermatology practice.

• Recent, hands-on experience with ModMed (Modernizing Medicine / EMA).

• Strong knowledge of dermatology-specific CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, and modifier applications, including Modifier 25 and 59.

• Practical experience with claims submission, ERA/EOB payment posting, denial resolution, and A/R aging follow-up.

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage complex aging accounts independently.
