Fulani/English OPI/VRI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Burkina Faso.

📋 Description

• Handle calls in a professional manner.

• Be ready to take notes throughout the call.

• Deliver messages accurately and thoroughly, without alterations.

• Offer exceptional customer service during interpreting sessions.

• Support communication between clients and individuals with limited English proficiency.

• Engage in internal professional development and seek new certifications.

• Adhere to dress code standards for video remote interpreting.

• Report and communicate with the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Seeking professional remote interpreters who have a passion for languages and interpretation.

• Knowledge of specific terminology within the healthcare and medical sector.

• Ability to adhere to the Interpreter's code of ethics.

• Must possess a dedicated, high-speed, secure internet connection.

• A minimum download speed of 20 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps is required.

• Must have a computer running Windows 10 or higher, with a dual-core processor, 2 GHz, and at least 8 GB of RAM.

• A wired internet connection is mandatory (Wi-Fi is not permitted).

• Must use a noise-cancelling, wired headset equipped with a built-in microphone (wireless/Bluetooth headphones are not acceptable).
