This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main support and daily contact for clients, working alongside client service teams and operations.

• Develop and sustain direct working relationships with clients and carriers.

• Organize and finish tasks based on client requirements, customs regulations, and Livingston standards.

• Manage client tariff databases, system maintenance files, vendors, and keywords.

• Verify documentation to ensure release conditions, compliance, and rating adherence.

• Establish, maintain, and adhere to client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and exceptions to established practices.

• Guarantee precise and prompt release and rating of shipments across various transportation modes.

• Review work completed by the Release Pool or the NSC in Air/Sea locations.

• Provide support, guidance, and mentorship to Release Operations team members in non-Air/Sea locations.

• Escalate unresolved issues and suggest corrective measures.

• Prepare customs entries and interpret customs documentation for both high- and low-value shipments.

• Input shipment data for EDI release, rating, and billing purposes.

• Reach out to clients and carriers to obtain any missing documents, information, or instructions.

• Collaborate with Customs and PGAs as needed.

• Conduct checks on tariff and valuation applications, as well as client/importer information.

• Carry out documented internal audits.

• Assist in gathering and reporting performance statistics for the Client Service Team.

• Engage in team operations, prioritization, scheduling, meetings, problem-solving, and special projects.

• Coordinate and execute electronic data relationships to enhance one-step processing.

• Stay informed about new system developments.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management while adhering to established policies and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required.

• Pursuing or successfully achieved the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation with CSCB or NCBFAA, if not already obtained.

• Completion of the CCS examination is essential for further career progression.

• Exceptional oral and written communication as well as organizational skills.

• Interpersonal skills focused on client service.

• Capability to manage significant workloads and adhere to tight deadlines.

• In-depth knowledge of company policies and procedures.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to make decisions and provide recommendations within authorized limits.

• Excellent time management capabilities.

• Professional presentation skills.

• Proficiency in Word and Excel.

• Familiarity with personal computers and standard business machines/software.
