• Identify patterns that hinder academic success.

• Conduct targeted outreach and deliver instruction to specific groups and individuals.

• Foster capable learners who are confident in their potential to succeed both academically and in life.

• Their primary focus is on ensuring the academic success of every student entrusted to their care.

• Utilizing university and department-level procedures and materials to mentor and instruct students.

• Acquiring and maintaining a thorough understanding of the curriculum and assignments students tackle each week.

• Using authoritative content expertise to respond swiftly to student inquiries and concerns regarding course content and assignments.

• Acting as the facilitator of the learning process by supporting students through posts/announcements, emails, occasional one-on-one virtual meetings, and videos.

• Engaging in regular communication with students about their participation and performance, and conducting outreach efforts to ensure effective instruction and mentoring throughout the course.

• Establishing authentic and meaningful relationships with all students through consistent communication across approved channels.

• Employing department-provided and curated training materials, procedures, and systems to design and implement appropriate outreach plans for classes, groups, and individuals based on student trends and needs.

• Demonstrating consistent and timely responses to students who engage with targeted outreach.

• Keeping track of communication histories and significant interactions with students, planning follow-ups at suitable intervals.

• Occasionally participating in training exercises and/or meetings to gain additional guidance and feedback.

• Utilizing feedback received through training and evaluations to enhance performance.
